Questions for Residential Life?

The second half of the semester is well underway, as are the snowflakes here in Duluth! As the new Director of Residential Life, I just finished my "first 100 days" in my new leadership role here at CSS, and I want to take a chance to reach out to parents and families to find out what kinds of questions do you have still lingering about living on campus? Do you ever wonder:

  • what a typical meal is like in GDR, Storms Den, or Einstein Bros Bagels for your student?
  • what happens if your student wants to stay on campus over the break periods?
  • when housing signup for 2015-16 will start?
  • what happens if/when a student violates a policy on campus in housing?
  • what programs are coming up in the apartments or Somers?
  • what is happening with the Groves apartments?
  • how snow clearing happens around the halls/apartments?
  • what we're doing to support your students academics?
Any and all of these questions are both common and easy to answer!  Just write a comment here or send me an email at mfitch@css.edu and I will be happy to get in touch with you.  You can always be in touch with any of our Res Life team at reslife@css.edu. Our parents and families of our 1000 on campus residents are very important--please be in touch!

  1. Everybody wants a fair deal when renting an apartment, but it is sometimes important to think about the consequences of what a good deal......
